High School
Grove City Christian High School opened in 1999, and our first group of graduates matriculated in 2003 with a group of 27 students. Our high school students are given a broad array of opportunities to explore. The school offers a variety of sports programs, musical venues, and ministry opportunities to challenge students and to teach them to serve others.
Our mission at Grove City Christian School is to cultivate quality Christian leaders in a distinctively Christian atmosphere while providing a solid spiritual and academic foundation. Our low teacher-to-student ratio allows teachers and coaches to work closely with our students and build relationships both inside and outside of the classroom. Students are encouraged to lead in all facets of the school: student government, chapel, school newspaper, etc. Students are encouraged to minister to those in our community and churches as well as those less fortunate around the world.
Our faculty is committed to encouraging excellence in the classroom and in fostering Christian standards in our students. Smaller class sizes afford our teachers the opportunity to work more closely with our students and to build a rapport that allows them to encourage, mold and teach in a personal yet professional setting. Weekly chapels, an invigorating series of Bible classes, and faculty who teach from a Biblical worldview help students to seek and to know God.
The faculty at Grove City Christian School strives to challenge our students academically. Our classes are geared toward college preparatory. We also offer AP classes in English, Biology, and Physics. These AP classes allow students to take college-level courses on campus and have the potential to earn college credit.
In addition to the learning that occurs within the classroom, our students have participated and won local prizes in the VFW Voice of Democracy Speech Contest, the John Phillip Sousa Award, and the Arion Award.
Students graduating from GCCS are accepted into a wide variety of colleges and universities. The school sponsors a Job Shadowing Program that provides sophomores the opportunity to partner with local hospitals, professionals, and businesses in order to experience a particular profession.
Below are the requirements for high school graduation. For more information, please speak with an administrator or our guidance counselor.

Middle School
Grove City Christian School prides itself on finding the right balance for its Middle School program. The middle school is basically self contained and has its own wing for sixth through eighth grades. The teachers in the middle school work on instilling a work ethic and in demanding that students take responsibility for his/her own education. At the same time, teachers realize the stresses of middle school and strive to keep parents informed at all times.
Classes offered at the middle school prepare students for GCCS's college preparatory high school curriculum while still employing the fun of middle school. For instance, a visitor walking through the middle school wing may find science classes dissecting earth worms while the math classes are working on a hands-on project. Literature circles whet students appetites for reading, and the students learn how to research and document a written paper. Your child's individual progress, successes and concerns are easily tracked by the faculty who communicate with you weekly.
Realizing that students are still maturing, faculty work to give each one his/her own niche. Students have their own student council and a weekly chapel. This affords students the opportunity to be in leadership positions, even at this age.
The middle school staff is passionate about education and yearns to instill a love of learning and a zeal for Christ in everything they do.
Students who desire an even more rigorous academic instruction level can be considered to take Algebra 1, Introduction to Physical Science, and a foreign language.
